Description The MFaCTSS can be used to obtain a snapshot of math fluency and calculation skills or to measure progress for individual students or groups at the secondary level. The three equivalent forms (A, B, and C) contain content based on curriculum standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the National Research Council arm of the National Academy of Sciences.
The test has a single component with 55 items that assess calculation skills. It is not timed. The record booklet has space for students to do calculations.
Administration and Scoring Testing takes 2030 minutes, and raw scores can be converted to standard scores and percentile ranks. Both age-level and grade-level norms are provided, along with T-scores and z-scores.
